LIFE Waste4Green project in the 3rd International Seminar on Animal and Plant Health (SISA 2019)


The National Center for Animal and Plant Health (CENSA) and the Latin American Phytopathological Association (ALF) organized the 3rd International Seminar on Animal and Plant Health (SISA 2019) and the 20th Congress of the Latin American Phytopathological Association, being held in Varadero, Cuba, May 6-10, 2019, with the major theme “The Agricultural Sciences for One Health”.

During the event, researchers, professors, specialists, students, decision-makers, entrepreneurs, and producers from different sectors and countries debated the strategies and results of the intersect oral and multidisciplinary collaboration work in confronting those problems that affect health of plants, animals, people, and the ecosystem from the communities to scales of greater intervention.
Within this framework, Drs Azucena González Coloma and Maria Fe Andrés Yeves presented their work focused around biopesticide potential of botanical extracts, as well as introduced the LIFE Waste4Green project to the assistants.
