Participation in the "Natural products for the control of parasites of bees and game" working meeting

The Biopesticide Research Group of the Institute of Agricultural Science (ICA-CSIC) has participated in a working meeting on "Natural products for the control of parasites of bees and game" organized by the research group of animal parasites UCM-INIA that took place on July 23 at La Finca de La Garganta, Almodovar del Campo, Ciudad Real.

In this context, the LIFE WASTE4GREEN project was presented.

The Garganta farm is operated by the company VILLAMAGNA S.A and besides having a sustainable agricultural production, it is the most important hunting ground in Spain, with an area of 15,000 hectares. During the meeting, the main objectives of the project were exposed and the application of the results on management strategies for controlling pest and diseases of crops, bees and game has been discussed.
